Oxidized Bitumen 85/35

Oxidized Bitumen 85/35 (Blown Asphalt 85/35) – Versatile, Medium-Hard Bitumen for Waterproofing and Industrial Applications

Description:

Oxidized Bitumen 85/35 is a semi-hard, high-performance bitumen produced through controlled air-blowing of vacuum-distilled bitumen. This grade offers a balanced combination of flexibility and durability, with a softening point and penetration value optimized for applications requiring resilience under moderate thermal stress.

Uses:

Roofing & Waterproofing: Built-up roofing systems, waterproofing membranes, and bituminous felts.
Pavement Maintenance: Crack sealants, joint fillers, and asphalt repair compounds.
Industrial Coatings: Pipe coatings, tank linings, and corrosion protection layers.
Adhesives & Sealants: Bituminous tapes, bonding agents, and expansion joint materials.
Electrical Insulation: Cable coatings and bituminous paints.

Packing & Shipping:

  • Packing:
    • 25 kg Polyethylene Bags
    • 50 kg Kraft Bags
    • 180–200 kg Steel Drums
  • Bulk: 1-ton pallets (blocks) or liquid tanker shipments (pre-heated).
  • Shipping: Transported via containers (20′ or 40′ FCL) or bulk vessels. Store in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight.
